Our hope for this weekend is a spiritual journey through storytelling as a means of self-discovery.
Through the telling of their stories, the retreat’s facilitators will shed light on such experiences as surrender, mercy, grace, awe, wonder, humor, sadness, confusion, freedom and forgiveness.
What is The Language Of The Heart?
As we move from moment to moment and encounter to encounter, this weekend invites you to look deeply within yourself and into the hearts of others – to search for the shared essence that binds us in complete relatedness.
When you speak with another soul, pause and look gently into their eyes. Hold this quiet contemplation:
- What is it that looks back at me from behind this creation’s eyes?
- Is it the same presence that peers out from behind mine?
- Is it possible that whatever God is, is reflecting upon Himself or Herself—through us?
- Could it be that God is revealing God to God?
When the heart surrenders to the Divine presence, it is liberated from the demands and distortions of the lower self and its egoic constructions.
